The cost of living crisis has had a huge impact on our Centre and our Community it has hit our area hard and had a massive impact on families in this area. Employment expectations are low and skill sets even lower. We have given away over £34250 in food vouchers and help in the last six months helping people in financial difficulties with energy bills, keeping the bailiffs’ from the door, and supplying new appliances.

We have done numerous outreach projects going to various workplaces where people are on minimum wage but still cannot manage. We have set up outreach three times at the local hospital to catch staff and patients who may need help but don’t know where to go.

All this has been done with the help of our Household Support Grant.
