Claremont First Step Community Centre is situated on Dickson Road, North of Blackpool Town Centre

If your group/organisation, or company is looking for this type of accommodation then there is a number of ways we may able to help.

Volunteers

We have been established on Dickson Road for over 20 years and at the moment we have a bank of 12 very dedicated and loyal volunteers… we consider them family.

They are very important to the running of the Centre on a day to day basis, we could not run the Centre without their support. Most of our volunteers have been with us for a number of years in fact our longest serving volunteer goes back to 2004 and is now 89 and still going strong.

If you are at a loose end, or have taken retirement but want to give something back we would be very pleased to hear from you. I’m sure you have many skills that would be of great help to us.

How You Can Support Us

If you have not used us in the past twenty years this would be a good opportunity to support a local Charity by using our Centre and getting to know us. We have rooms to hire our for various events from large meetings/gatherings in our hall to small training sessions in one of our training rooms.

Our rates are very competitive, and we do our very best to make you feel very much at home when you come into the building. If you hire one of our rooms you are helping to support us to keep our doors open.

• Large Hall to hire seating up to 150 theatre style
• Various individual meeting rooms with a choice of setups (block, open plan, theatre styles)
• Photocopying available
• OHP, screen, lecture and audio/PA available
• Full corporate setup available for meetings
• We also offer Information and Advice which is Matrix quality standard

• Brand new “state of the art” Computer suite available to hire for training sessions, seminars etc with 12 computer terminals all with internet access available for job search, CV creation and computer training
• Boardroom available for more formal corporate meetings
If you need more permanent office space then we may be able to assist in this also. Our rates are very reasonable and always subject to negotiation.

We can also supply office desk & space hire
for smaller amounts of time

In short, we can be all things to all people, why not come along and pay us a visit, you will be pleasantly surprised at the many things that are going on.
