Claremont First Step Community Centre is very fortunate to be supported by a dedicated team of volunteers.
Without the support of our volunteers the Centre would struggle to perform as it does. Therefore if you could spare as little as a few hours a week or more and you wish to support our Community Centre then please consider the numerous opportunities for voluntary placements.

We are always looking for willing volunteers to help out around the Centre
Whether you would like to get involved in fundraising or you want to help out in our clubs, even if you can only spare a couple of hours a week, we will always be grateful of your help.
We are always interested in giving Volunteers a pathway into work and boosting their skills and self esteem if they have been out of the workforce for a while. We look for Volunteers to help us run our day to day clubs and groups within the Centre. We can also improve their work skills by offering various courses throughout their time with us.
Become A Member
You can also help us by becoming a member of the organisation.
As a member you will be invited to our Annual General Meeting and other general meetings, where you will have the opportunity to help decide how the organisation is run. You could even apply to become a Board member.
Membership is open to anyone living or working in the Fylde area who can demonstrate their willingness to support the work of the Centre and have the skill set which will help to drive us forward in the future.
